Studios are disabled
In the case that the kgnu studios are disabled (such as because of a 100-year flood), it is possible to broadcast directly from the FM transmitter site. The AM transmitter can be set to rebroadcast the the signal from the FM transmitter.
FM transmitter
Take the Penny Lane suitcase from the metal cabinet in the News office
Take the key for the transmitter site from the lab
Go to the FM transmitter site
Connect the output of the PennyLane mixer to the FM transmitter audio input
Use the PennyLane mixer, mikes and headset as a basic studio
There's a phone at the transmitter
AM transmitter
Go to the AM transmitter site
Use the FM receiver already at the AM transmitter site to receive the FM signal
Connect the output of the receiver to the AM transmitter
For a longer term situation, we could borrow a studio from another organization (say, KVCU) and use a HotLine CoDec and the telephone line at the transmitter site to send our signal to the FM transmitter.
