This area is private to KGNU people. All others kindly keep out.

In case you need it right away: EMERGENCY INFO

This site has all sorts of internal information for KGNU people, such as emergency info, procedures, how things work, ways of collaborating on projects, committe info...

/!\ The current URL for these pages, mercury.kgnu.net/w/, is temporary, so, for now, don't link to any page in this wiki. It will probably become kgnu.net/info/ .

This is a Wiki, meaning that you, as a KGNU person, can add to it, or edit it, and are encouraged to do so. Except for the Policies section, the information in this wiki is not to be taken as KGNU's official policy.

Good starting points

How to use this site

The KGNU Wiki is a collaborative site, where people can contribute and share in the appropriate places. But to eliminate wikispam, to edit most pages you will need permission. If that seems like overkill, and someone is willing to clean up possible spam, we can change it. Some security-sensitive pages can't be accessed at all by the public.

Everyone should feel free to create an account via the "Login" link at the top of the page. It lets you maintain UserPreferences and makes the wiki easier to use. They should be registered in the InfoTech/AdminGroup so they can do administration on this wiki.

On this wiki, members of the InfoTech/AdminGroup can do administration. For permission to modify pages, first create an account, then let NealMcB know what it is. See HelpOnAccessControlLists for more information on access control.

General editing tips:

You can watch the RecentChanges via an RSS feed at http://mercury.kgnu.net/w/RecentChanges?action=rss_rc&ddiffs=1&unique=1 Or if you want to receive more detailed email updates when pages change, you can "Subscribe" to the page via either the link near the top of the page, or via your UserPreferences page. Subscribe to ".*" to follow all changes.

To learn more about what a WikiWikiWeb is, read about WhyWikiWorks and the WikiNature. Also, consult the HelpMiscellaneous/FrequentlyAskedQuestions page.
